The Bull family was an early pioneering family known as "selectors" who held vast tracts of land in the Jondaryan Parish - the land where Griffith now stands. William Bull's property, Round Hill, covered the area known today as Bilbul, where the William Bull Brewery and original De Bortoli winery are located.

Married:  Marion August Agnes (nee Kook) in 1910
